Gordon Banks, a retired NFL receiver who is now a Christian motivational speaker, is coming to Kalispell on Aug. 28. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the outdoor pavilion of Love and Faith Church, Banks will answer football-related questions from anybody in attendance. Then at 6 p.m., there will be music and free hamburgers. At 7 p.m., Banks will give a speech, followed by more music and a celebration.
Banks was a speedy receiver who attended Stanford University before moving on to the NFL to play for the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. Love and Faith Church, an affiliate of Covenant Church, is located on Montana Highway 35 just before Woody’s Country Store coming from Kalispell.
