6:24 a.m. An unoccupied silvery grey vehicle idled on O’Brien Bluffs in Whitefish. The car was gone when authorities arrived.
6:33 a.m. Two to four juvenile males may have been going through cars on Somers Avenue in Whitefish. The unruly boys could not be located.
9:02 a.m. Several peacocks explored Springcreek Road, wandering into oncoming traffic. The loose fowl are apparently an ongoing problem.
11:54 a.m. Someone in Lakeside claims that a neighbor built a road directly through the reporting party’s property. The road turned out to be part of an easement issue, rather than a case of criminal mischief.
12:16 p.m. A large Newfoundland was found on Truman Creek Road. The creature was escorted to the shelter where it will be receiving treatment for cancerous growths.
1:50 p.m. Three projectors were stolen from a school in Bigfork. Authorities will be further investigating the situation.
3:28 p.m. Someone attempted to enter a home on Adobe Drive in Columbia Falls with a random key. The would-be intruder was thwarted when the key broke off in the lock.
4:03 p.m. An intoxicated individual leaned against a pole near a business on Highway 2 East. The reporting party was concerned that the man might wander into traffic.
4:13 p.m. A 9-year-old girl was thought to be missing when she missed her ride home from school. Fortunately, the girl was quickly located.
4:53 p.m. A 17-year-old male subject attempted to leave an Evergreen box store with unpaid-for trading cards.
5:01 p.m. Two horses on Emmons Canyon Road appeared to have no access to water. Authorities arrived to find that they did indeed have water available.
5:22 p.m. Kids with BB guns seemed suspicious on Kings Way.
6:19 p.m. Several transient individuals pitched a tent and hung their laundry out to dry on a trail near Highway 2 West. They were encouraged to pack up their things and move along.
6:50 p.m. Two neighbors yelled at one another on Highway 2 East in Evergreen. Apparently, one of the individuals does not appreciate it when the other leaves the house in his boxer shorts. The scantily clad man responded to her criticism with loud profanity.
7:32 p.m. Two black labs, a blue heeler and a Chihuahua attacked an intoxicated individual on Shady Lane. The reporting party bravely fought them off with a garden hose.
8:42 p.m. A 22-year-old female subject attempted to steal $25 worth of audio equipment from an Evergreen box store.
10:07 p.m. Someone rifled through a lady’s purse on South Woodland Drive and stole prescription medications.
12:56 p.m. Ten juveniles assaulted an individual with existing medical problems in Hungry Horse. Although the victim seemed to have sustained extensive injury, he declined transport.
2:54 a.m. A male individual fled a local convenience store with a 30-pack of beer.
