Organizers for the 29th Annual Whitefish Soccer Tournament are trying to spread the word about their admission-free event, which draws talented soccer players from around the Northwest United States and Canada. Roughly 500 players, both male and female, are expected to participate, hailing from Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Idaho and Montana’s major cities.
The tournament will be held on Sept. 12-13 at Grouse Mountain and Smith Fields complexes. Games are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. For more information, call Colin Sellwood at (406) 862-5154.
