5:28 a.m. A male subject was seen banging on the door of the Whitefish post office. He was later arrested for unknown charges.

8:26 a.m. A Bigfork school official called to report that a student was driving recklessly in the area. The young driver was found and cited.

10:33 a.m. Someone was chased by a pit bull on Lauman Road.

11:10 a.m. A resident of Somers called to report that several golden labs are continually in the road on Klondike Loop. Authorities could not locate said dogs.

12:06 p.m. A patron of the Olney post office reportedly found a book of matches, all of which were lit at the time of the report.

1:14 p.m. A generator may have been stolen from a residence on 7th Avenue East.

4:03 p.m. A concerned parent reports that their 12-year-old son was choked by another youth at an Evergreen school. Authorities will be investigating the claim.

4:20 p.m. Someone on Creekside Drive reports that a neighbor habitually sprays her children with a garden hose as they ride their bikes down the street.

4:51 p.m. A suspicious hole in the side of a vehicle on Highway 35 was not a bullet hole but in fact the result of a fast-moving rock.

4:52 p.m. Someone shot a propane tank on Hoffman Drive.

5:06 p.m. A cow stuck in a fence on Springcreek Drive extricated itself without assistance.

5:27 p.m. A resident of Harmony Road became suspicious when a lady came to the door bearing foreclosure information. The woman and her information turned out to be completely legitimate.

5:41 p.m. Someone rummaged through several outbuildings on a Conn Road property. No items were taken from the buildings.

7:57 p.m. A vehicle collided with a building on Highway 35 in Kalispell. Evergreen Ambulance responded.

8:04 p.m. An employee of a Columbia Falls store felt that a customer may have been “casing the place.”

11:11 p.m. A large semi drove recklessly in the eastbound lane of Highway 2 West.

11:44 p.m. A man and a woman screamed profanities at one another on Apple Tree Circle.

12:18 a.m. A deceased black bear blocked a road in Lakeside.
