One Last Weekend of Warm Weather?

By Beacon Staff

Now, I don’t profess to be a psychic or an accredited meteorologist, but I can read and click buttons on the computer. Here’s what I found when I checked out the National Weather Service’s web site for upcoming weather in the Flathead Valley.

The weekend, meaning today, Saturday and Sunday, should be glorious with temperatures in the mid-70s and low 80s and hardly any clouds. How lucky is that with fall officially here?

However, the weather is expected to get a little brisk starting Tuesday. A projected high of 57 degrees (which we will be begging for come December), and plenty of chances for precipitation. It gets even gloomier on Wednesday, with a projected high of 49 degrees and the possibility of SNOW (!) in some areas.

Montana weather certainly knows how to keep you on your toes, that’s for sure. So get out there and enjoy it, there may not be many days like these left in 2009. Also remember to check the weather forecasts before heading out on into the outdoors – you can view them here on the NWS site.
