Unwanted Visitor and a Dead Owl

7:40 a.m. Someone on Cottonwood Drive reports seeing a man in black clothing run away from a nearby residence.

8:25 a.m. A local casino received a counterfeit $50 bill.

9:25 a.m. A landlord and tenant argued on Troutbeck Rise in Lakeside.

9:30 a.m. A landlord and tenant argued on Helena Flats Road.

9:48 a.m. Two men were selling projectors from the back of their car at an Evergreen sporting goods store. The reporting party claims that the projectors were of very poor quality.

12:11 p.m. A resident of Shadow Lane reports that someone applied for credit in the reporting party’s name.

1:12 p.m. Someone requested a welfare check on an individual with diminished mental capacity at a local supermarket. The person was located and was perfectly fine.

1:39 p.m. Vehicle tires were slashed in Bigfork.

1:47 p.m. A school bus driver called to report that two youths were fighting on the bus. The issue will be handled by school authorities.

2:03 p.m. Five horses seemed to have no food on Batavia Lane. Authorities responded and found the animals to be healthy and well-fed.

2:13 p.m. A blue Honda was stolen from a local auto dealer.

2:25 p.m. A local cell phone supplier was relieved of a small amount of cash. A business employee is suspected to have taken the money.

2:33 p.m. A Weimaraner displayed vicious behavior on South Foys Lake Drive.

2:38 p.m. Someone on Foothills Road claims that her mother’s friends are trying to get involved in her mother’s financial affairs.

3:41 p.m. A driver on Highway 93 became irate when another motorist was moving too slowly in the left lane.

3:47 p.m. Someone on Coram Stage Road reports that a neighbor’s pit bulls habitually charge at people walking near the home.

4:34 p.m. A resident of Karrow Drive in Whitefish requested assistance in removing her ex-husband from her home.

5:33 p.m. Someone on Columbia Falls Stage Road found a big dead owl in their yard. They were not sure whether the bird was on the endangered species list.

8:43 p.m. An individual in Martin City became concerned when their 7-year-old child failed to return from a friend’s house on time. The reporting party later called back to report that the child had arrived safely.

9:12 p.m. A cow bellowed continually for four hours in Bigfork. The caller evidently found this suspicious.

1:44 a.m. A kid rode his bicycle down the middle of Highway 2 in Columbia Falls.

2:15 a.m. A man left a Columbia Falls grocery store without paying for his items.

2:51 a.m. Two men and two women caused a ruckus on West Reserve Drive. The four were told to lower their voices.
