In a piece titled, Is American Police Force the Next Great Militia?, New York media gossip Web site Gawker.com has picked up on the many, many questions surrounding the group, American Police Force, which has been awarded a contract to run the Hardin jail and plans on establishing some sort of large, military training camp there. While the story itself doesn’t break much new ground, other than linking to the reporting Montana news outlets have done previously on the secretive company, Gawker’s astute readers do amazingly point out in the comments section that the crest used in American Police Force’s logo is identical to the crest on the state flag of Serbia. It’s exactly the same. What does it mean? Your guess is as good as mine.
UPDATE: Oh! That explains it.
