Graveyard Hooligans and a Bear Foot

6:33 a.m. Two intoxicated men caused a ruckus at a Columbia Falls trailer court.

8:13 a.m. Ferndale fire officials became suspicious when they noticed a vehicle with open doors parked at the fire hall. The automobile turned out to be a department training vehicle.

8:50 a.m. Fireworks mysteriously appeared in a driveway on South Woodland Drive. The homeowner requested extra patrol in the area.

8:52 a.m. Emergency medical personnel responded to reports of an unconscious female subject in a vehicle at a Columbia Falls convenience store. The woman was found to be highly intoxicated.

9:29 a.m. A vehicle window was broken on Shadow Wood Drive in Columbia Falls.

9:45 a.m. Two roommates quarreled on Birch Grove Road. Evidently, one roommate used the other’s car without permission.

9:53 a.m. A golf cart was stolen on Helena Flats Road.

10:47 a.m. Someone broke into a Bigfork rental home and stole several items.

11:36 a.m. A 2-year-old child went missing in Columbia Falls but was found a short time later.

12:16 p.m. An individual was attacked by a dog in his South Cedar yard. The reporting party’s landlord handled the dog.

1:17 p.m. Although he seemed suspicious at the time, an individual at a local church was merely attempting to recover from extreme intoxication.

2:17 p.m. Someone briefly refused to return a rental boat in Lakeside but soon changed their mind.

2:40 p.m. Cash was stolen from an unlocked car on Helena Flats Road.

2:55 p.m. A horse on Tall Pine Ridge seemed extremely thin, but was actually completely healthy.

3:08 p.m. A vehicle and home were pelted with paint balls in Columbia Falls.

3:53 p.m. A member of a church on Two Mile Drive pulled into the church driveway and refused to leave.

3:59 p.m. Someone noticed what appeared to be a human foot in a dumpster near an Evergreen supermarket. The remains turned out to be the remnants of a legal bear carcass.

4:51 p.m. Someone on Shadow Wood Drive received threatening phone messages.

5:20 p.m. A 17-year-old boy argued with his stepmother on White Basin Road.

6:03 p.m. Three youths used profane language and gestures toward visitors at a local cemetery. The offenders were advised against doing so in the future.

10:39 p.m. A black bear knocked over a bird feeder on Whalebone Drive.

4:05 p.m. Someone shattered a windshield in Bigfork.
