Mistaken Identity and Four Black Cows

12:26 a.m. A home near a local cemetery may have been entered by an unknown individual. The possible intruder was gone when authorities arrived.

12:59 a.m. Someone called to report that a child had been left in a car outside a Bigfork bar. Come to find out, the “child” was in fact an adult waiting for the bartender to get off work.

1:15 a.m. An intoxicated subject drove into someone’s tree on Parliament Drive.

3:39 a.m. A county vehicle struck a deer on Highway 35. No damage was done to the rig.

6:46 a.m. Someone threw a beer bottle through the back window of a car at a Columbia Falls motel.

8:50 a.m. A dog near Foys Lake seemed to have no food or water. The dog was actually fine.

9:19 a.m. A protester was unwelcome outside a local church.

10:44 a.m. Someone stole hay from a home at the bottom of Hart Hill.

11:18 a.m. Authorities performed a welfare check on an Evergreen Drive man. The subject was apparently “acting goofy.”

12:48 p.m. Someone found four black cows with ear tags on Valley Vista Drive. The cows were returned home.

1:15 p.m. Video games were stolen from a home on Sharon Road.

2:37 p.m. A combine caught fire and was extinguished on Highway 93.

2:42 p.m. Missing children were soon found on Terrace Hill in Bigfork.

3:41 p.m. An intoxicated 60-year-old fell from a truck and hit his head on Seville Lane in Coram.

5:46 p.m. A black horse ran amok on Whitefish Stage Road.

5:50 p.m. A woman was escorted to jail after assaulting her boyfriend over a child visitation issue.

9:27 p.m. What were thought to be gunshots turned out to be fireworks in Hungry Horse.

11:18 p.m. Loud music emanated from a residence on Main Street. Authorities instructed the revelers to turn it down.
