8:04 a.m. An employee of a local auto dealership arrived at work to find one of the vehicles on blocks with all four tires missing. Authorities are investigating the unusual theft.
8:47 a.m. Reports of a fire at a Whitefish golf course turned out to be a controlled slash burn.
10:19 a.m. A Blazing Trail resident did not show up to work, causing his coworkers considerable worry. The man was not home when authorities arrived.
10:48 a.m. Someone attempted to siphon gas from a vehicle on East Evergreen Drive.
1:06 p.m. A suspicious-looking vehicle parked at an Evergreen pawn shop was asked to move along.

1:59 p.m. Someone intentionally busted a window out of a front-end loader on Cemetery Road.
2:17 p.m. Someone spattered paint on the walls of a project on Blacktail Road, thoroughly irritating the reporting party.
2:39 p.m. Several snow tires were stolen from a residence on Harmony Road.
4:26 p.m. A young female subject has been receiving harassing text messages at school. Authorities helped resolve the situation.
6:44 p.m. An unattended slash burn on Mount Creek Drive was barely burning when authorities arrived.
7:22 p.m. The family of an older woman living at a local RV park called and inquired as to her well-being. Authorities found that the woman no longer lives in the area.
8:00 p.m. Two adult males argued vigorously at a Columbia Falls bar. The two were calmed and separated.

9:52 p.m. Someone evidently saw a plane fly behind a hill, after which a blue light flashed in the sky. No planes have been reported as missing.
10:39 p.m. A man carrying a suitcase pestered patrons of a local casino.
11:13 p.m. What was thought to be smoke turned out to be steam from a clothes-dryer vent at a Hungry Horse residence.
11:14 p.m. Three males shot paintballs at a Columbia Falls lumber mill.
