On Oct. 31, the Whitefish Bulldogs will try for their third Class A soccer championship in the last four years and fourth overall. But they will have to get past Billings Central, the team team that ruined their bid for a third straight crown last year. Central defeated Whitefish 2-1 in the state semifinals in 2008. The Bulldogs beat Corvallis 2-1 over the weekend to advance to the championship game.
Whitefish will host the game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Smith Fields. Cost of admission is $7 for adults and $6 for students. The Whitefish girls lost to Billings Central 5-0 on Saturday to end their season.
