Job Search Gone Awry and a Threatening Noise

12:01 a.m. Someone threw snowballs at passing cars in Martin City.

2:24 a.m. A car with a red light on top pulled into a driveway on Trumble Creek Road.

4:12 a.m. Reports of a woman being held against her will on Lower Valley Road proved unfounded. The situation involved a large amount of alcohol.

6:40 a.m. A woman on Harmony Road became suspicious when her husband, a construction worker, didn’t return from a night of job hunting. Come to find out, his search had led him to a local bar.

8:02 a.m. Someone at a local inn called saying that he hadn’t eaten in quite a while and couldn’t get out of his room. Authorities checked on him and found that he was perfectly fine.

11:38 a.m. A wood stove apparently blew up on Managhan Lane. The resulting blaze was contained after half an hour.

1:50 p.m. A man guilty of unsafe shooting on Rogers Lake Road was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

3:34 p.m. A controlled burn emitted white smoke on Bigfork Stage Road.

4:22 p.m. Someone on Farm to Market Road has been receiving unwanted phone calls.

6:16 p.m. A dog was barking on Willow Glen Drive.

6:30 p.m. A juvenile male was arrested after hitting his father on Shady Lane.

6:56 p.m. Someone on Dillon Road heard a “zing” near his dog kennel. He then began to threaten the source of the noise. Authorities arrived and calmed him down.

7:29 p.m. An adult female argued verbally with her mother on Eckleberry Drive.

7:45 p.m. Bigfork Fire Department responded to a burning microwave on Middle Pierce Lane.

9:18 p.m. A drunken woman attempted to fight with her husband on Belton Stage Road. The subject couldn’t be located when authorities arrived.

9:32 p.m. Tires were slashed on Ashley Lake Road.

2:48 a.m. An intoxicated man argued with his wife on Reserve Drive.

3:12 a.m. A dark colored horse stood in the middle of Highway 2 East in Columbia Falls.
