Severed Finger and a Domestic Dispute

7:48 a.m. A motor home caught fire on Mountain Meadow Road. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the blaze.

8:16 a.m. Someone broke into an Evergreen pharmacy and took an unknown amount of narcotics.

8:44 a.m. Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on Eagle Bend Drive.

9:12 a.m. Three outdoor lights were knocked over on Vista Lane.

9:26 a.m. A county vehicle hit a deer on Farm-to-Market Road.

11:24 a.m. Someone decided to leave their trash at a closed dump site in Marion.

11:24 a.m. A panhandler on River Road was found to be harmless.

11:49 a.m. An intoxicated man argued verbally with his wife, then left.

12:17 p.m. A young kid lying on the road near a Columbia Falls school had a stomachache but was otherwise fine.

1:41 p.m. Someone on Eighth Avenue East called to report that their cat had been killed by a neighbor’s dog.

2:38 p.m. Two neighbors on Haywire Gulch cannot agree on an easement issue. A driveway may or may not overlap onto the wrong property.

3:19 p.m. Someone walked into the Bigfork Fire Hall with their severed finger in tow. The individual received medical attention.

3:35 p.m. Two firearms were stolen from a home on Cobbler View Lane.

4:05 p.m. Two individuals trespassed onto private property in Bigfork, argued with the reporting party and then left.

5:39 p.m. Someone wearing dark clothing rode their bike down Highway 35, swerving in and out of traffic all the while. Authorities could not locate the biker.

8:40 p.m. A possible disturbance in Marion turned out to be a father yelling at his daughter for disrespectful behavior. The reporting party turned out to be the girl’s mother.

9:25 p.m. Tires were slashed on South Cedar Drive.
