Boulder Man Dies After Falling from Parking Garage

HELENA – Lewis and Clark County officials say a 24-year-old Boulder man is dead after an apparent fall from a Helena parking garage.

The body of Kyle Patrick Grove was found Thursday afternoon behind the downtown parking garage. Lewis and Clark County Coroner Mickey Nelson says it appears Grove either fell into or tried to jump over a gap of about 8 feet between two 3-foot tall walls. He fell about 25 feet to the ground.

Nelson says nothing at the scene suggests anyone else was involved, and Grove likely fell Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Helena Police Chief Troy McGee says the death remains under investigation and an autopsy will be performed.
