7:57 a.m. A horse on East Reserve Drive was not dead but merely lying down.
8:02 a.m. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in Martin City.
8:33 a.m. Black smoke on Center Street was not from a fire but rather exhaust from a diesel pickup truck.
9:09 a.m. A downed telephone wire blocked Apple Way.
9:18 a.m. Although it appeared that a dog on Half Moon Road had no access to shelter, it did in fact have a dog house available.
12:45 p.m. A wallet was taken from a vehicle on Columbia Meadows Drive in Columbia Falls.
1:09 p.m. Gas was siphoned from a vehicle in Bigfork.
1:19 p.m. A dog on Dorothy Street in Columbia Falls was cold not because he had no doghouse but because he chose not to use it.
2:04 p.m. A chimney fire was extinguished within twenty minutes on Ranch Lane.
2:39 p.m. Tires were stolen from behind a maintenance shed in Bigfork.
3:17 p.m. Two mixed-breed dogs were found frozen solid in an outdoor kennel in Hungry Horse. The dogs had short hair and appeared to have little body fat. Though they had access to a fiberglass dog house, the shelter had no insulation. The owner was cited with two counts of animal cruelty.
4:14 p.m. A school bus backed over a fire hydrant on Lakeshore Drive, causing flooding in the area.
4:56 p.m. Three or four horses wandered onto a local golf course. The owner soon arrived and brought them home.
5:16 p.m. A bill collector reportedly contacted a resident of Haywire Gulch, wanting to “get together and fight.”
6:23 p.m. Someone from McCaffery road went to a mechanic’s house to request a receipt. The mechanic apparently then threatened the reporting party.
7:25 p.m. An angry 17-year-old left his Timber Lane Terrace home on foot and without a coat. He ended up at his father’s residence.
9:35 p.m. Three individuals engaged in a verbal altercation in Lakeside. All parties were gone when authorities arrived.
10:54 p.m. A male subject entered a local convenience store, displayed a firearm and demanded cash. Authorities are investigating the robbery.
11:05 p.m. A supposed house fire turned out to be an outdoor burn and was contained within eleven minutes.
