Cat Questions and a Suspicous Nap

8:55 a.m. Someone felt that a burro standing near a fence in Somers might be neglected. The report turned out to be unfounded.

9:52 a.m. Fuel was stolen from a truck on Highway 93 South.

1:00 p.m. Someone in Columbia Falls spotted a dog that had gone missing from its home.

1:53 p.m. A reported case of animal neglect proved unfounded in Lakeside. The dog had access to food and water and was in good condition.

2:03 p.m. Someone keyed a vehicle in the parking lot of an Evergreen box store.

2:06 p.m. Someone called to report threats that occurred near a Somers school, but became busy and neglected to call back.

2:38 p.m. Authorities answered questions regarding a cat in Hungry Horse.

3:55 p.m. A dog in Lakeside was not neglected and did have shelter.

4:31 p.m. A 24-year-old male subject shoplifted a cell phone from an Evergreen box store.

4:41 p.m. A contained slash burn was reported as a house fire on Political Hill Road in Lakeside. Authorities checked it out and all was well.

5:13 p.m. A man called to report that an out-of-county electrical company was using his personal information to bid out jobs.

6:09 p.m. Someone in Kila overheard a man and woman screaming at a nearby residence. When authorities arrived all vehicles were gone and no one answered the door.

7:25 p.m. A man on Rhodes Draw did not feel that his ex-wife had any right to return to the property.

8:14 p.m. A faulty furnace caused a carbon monoxide alarm to go off at a Kalispell residence. All occupants were evacuated and no one was harmed.

11:04 p.m. A counterfeit $100 bill turned up at a business on Highway 2 West.

11:28 p.m. Someone slept suspiciously in their vehicle behind a local business. Authorities checked on him and all was well.
