Drunken Nuisance and Lost Son Located

12:11 a.m. A resident of South Many Lakes Drive called to report that that her husband was outside on the porch, yelling at her. The woman is evidently filing for divorce.

12:59 a.m. Four intoxicated people fought at a Coram bar. No weapons were involved.

1:55 a.m. Reports of several thefts at a Bigfork bar turned out to be unfounded. A friend of the supposed victims had actually placed the items aside for safekeeping.

2:04 a.m. A chimney fire burned for twenty minutes on Hathaway Lane.

10:07 a.m. Someone tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a local fast food joint.

10:31 a.m. Mailboxes were smashed on Helena Flats Road.

10:44 a.m. A vehicle at a local fishing access appeared to have been ransacked and damaged.

10:53 a.m. Authorities responded to a report of a man down in Whitefish. The shirtless individual was transported to the hospital.

12:07 p.m. A smaller grey vehicle was left running outside a Somers residence. The car was gone when authorities arrived.

12:54 p.m. A verbal disturbance ensued when a mother on Lower Valley Road did not want her child’s friend to visit the home.

2:03 p.m. A brown pit bull fell through the ice on Spring Creek. The dog was in the water for ten minutes before the animal warden pulled him out.

2:09 p.m. Eight kids were seen sledding down the middle of Primrose Lane. The youths were counseled.

4:33 p.m. A possible structure fire turned out to be smoke from a smokestack.

6:58 p.m. Several shots and yelling were heard in Bigfork. Authorities could not locate the source of the reported noise.

9:12 p.m. A male individual refused to leave a local bar and attempted to pick a fight with the reporting party’s husband. The issue was settled after a lengthy conversation with the very intoxicated man.

9:53 p.m. Three backpacks were stolen from a location on Big Mountain.

9:55 p.m. A purse was stolen from a locked vehicle in Evergreen. The perpetrator smashed a window in order to enter the car.

10:27 p.m. A concerned parent on Braig Lane called to report that their son was an hour and a half late and still hadn’t returned home. The subject was located asleep in his bed.

10:38 p.m. Two individuals shone a laser pen at passing vehicles on Highway 40. They were counseled and left the area.
