A 30-year-old man suspected of counterfeiting bills and circulating them in the Kalispell area has been arrested after an Evergreen pharmacy was robbed at knifepoint.
Jeremy Walbridge of Kalispell is accused of robbing the Evergreen Pharmacy of the powerful painkiller Oxycontin on Thursday afternoon. He was arrested after leading officers on an off-road chase.
Walbridge was recently named as a suspect in a counterfeiting investigation, but has not been formally charged. During the investigation, he was detained at the Flathead County jail on a probation hold, but was released when the hold expired at 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Walbridge and 20-year-old Benjamin Kile of Columbia Falls are still suspects in the counterfeiting operation, which authorities say may be linked to an Evergreen family that was arrested earlier in the week on drug charges.
