Grizzlies Hire Pflugrad as Football Coach

By Beacon Staff

The University of Montana football team has a new head coach. Robin Pflugrad, the Grizzlies’ receivers coach, has been hired to replace Bobby Hauck, according to the Missoulian. Hauck left UM to take a job at UNLV.

According to the Missoulian:

This was Pflugrad’s third try at the UM job: Hauck was hired over Pflugrad in 2003 and stayed seven seasons, going 80-17 and guiding the Griz to three FCs title games; Joe Glenn won the job in 2000 and had a 39-6 record at UM, including the 2001 championship season.
