Orphan Horses and a Wandering Dog

3:29 a.m. What began as a routine traffic stop ended in a foot pursuit on Sweetgrass Ranch Road. The suspect was evidently wearing a puffy white jacket.

7:08 p.m. Apparently, a white vehicle drives by a home on Riverside Drive at approximately 1:30 every morning.

9:55 a.m. Someone on Bald Rock Road believes that their ex-husband has been stealing her mail.

10:58 a.m. Mailboxes were brutalized on Lee Road. Suspects have not been named.

11:20 a.m. A vehicle was reported as stolen from a residence on Harmony Road but later returned unharmed. The culprit evidently knew that pliers were needed to start the vehicle.

11:57 a.m. Someone at a home on Highway 206 was alarmed to notice sheriff’s deputies in the area. The caller was reassured that they were following up on an earlier incident.

12:18 p.m. Four horses have been running amok on Haywire Gulch since Christmas day. Authorities have been unable to locate the owner of said horses.

12:58 p.m. A reported fire in Whitefish was in fact in a chimney. The blaze was quickly extinguished.

1:17 p.m. An unfamiliar individual walked suspiciously across a field on Wiley Dyke Road.

5:40 p.m. Someone in Coram had a bit too much too drink and was attempting to hitchhike on Highway 2 East. Authorities gave him a ride home.

5:40 p.m. Someone wearing dark clothing wandered down the road in Somers, jeopardizing his personal safety.

5:42 p.m. Skis were stolen from a location on Big Mountain.

6:20 p.m. A domestic pooch was caught in a coyote trap on Florence Acres Way. The trap was set in a completely legal location and manner. The dog was not properly contained.

7:53 p.m. Someone at a local motel overheard another individual talking about meth. The reporting party was concerned for the subject’s children.

8:24 p.m. A mother and son argued verbally on South Cedar Drive.

3:00 a.m. Four drunken women fought with one another on Hathaway Lane. A male subject on the premises was arrested for disturbing the peace and obstructing a peace officer.
