10:01 a.m. An unspecified amount of money was stolen from a home on Lake Blaine Road. The theft occurred sometime in December.
11:20 a.m. A woman claims that her soon-to-be ex-husband has been stealing items from a mutually owned business. The man insists that he has taken only his own personal belongings.
12:48 p.m. Authorities checked on a subject who has not been in contact with his daughter for a couple of years. The man was fine.
1:34 p.m. Someone allegedly neglected to pay $1100 in rent at a local motel.
4:11 p.m. A juvenile subject was reportedly assaulted on the way home from school. Authorities are investigating the claim.
4:47 p.m. Reports of a neglected dog in Lakeside turned out to be unfounded. The dog appears to be healthy.
5:22 p.m. A backpack and a game system were stolen from a residence on Lone Pine Road. The suspect plans to return the items to the sheriff’s office.
5:24 p.m. According to a local resident, a cat is continually running wild on Cooperative Way.
6:13 p.m. Juvenile males allegedly chucked rocks at cars in Hungry Horse. Fortunately, no vehicles were damaged.
6:44 p.m. A laptop computer was stolen at a business on Highway 2 East.
7:45 p.m. Authorities arrived at a location on Sunny View Lane expecting to deal with a vehicle fire. Instead, they found no flames, smoke or other indication of a fire.
8:00 p.m. Two men evidently jumped over the fence at a business on Brunner Road but left when an employee yelled at them.
11:21 p.m. Someone in Hungry Horse noticed a couple of kids trying to get into a garage and found it slightly suspicious. Come to find out, the kids belonged there but couldn’t find the right key.
12:43 a.m. Evergreen Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Park Street in Evergreen. They were on the scene until 4:53 a.m.
