BOZEMAN – Montana State will pay tribute to the late Craig Finberg during this weekend’s game against Montana.
Finberg’s alma mater will pay tribute to him by presenting The Finny Award to the top Bobcat in the annual Cat-Griz game played in Bozeman.
Originally from Columbia Falls, Finberg earned First Team All-Big Sky honors as a junior and second team kudos as a sophomore and senior.
Finberg finished his career as MSU’s fourth-leading scorer and all-time leader in assists at the time.
He died of cancer last spring.
A plaque honoring each year’s Finny Award winner will reside in Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
