Pint-Sized Prints and a Scruffy Pedestrian

12:39 a.m. A male subject went to jail on an outstanding warrant after fighting with a woman in a vehicle.

12:44 a.m. A local woman apparently does not like to receive phone calls from her ex-boyfriend.

2:52 a.m. Someone went to jail after ramming his “buddy’s” truck with his own vehicle on Birch Drive.

3:10 a.m. A blue vehicle was driving erratically and possible pulling into yards in Bigfork.

4:01 a.m. Someone on Autumn Ridge received a call from a man staying at a local motel. The reporting party evidently knows the caller from school and wants no further contact.

7:52 a.m. Prescription medications were stolen from a home on Hodgson Road.

8:53 a.m. A resident of Foothill Road was alarmed to find footprints in the snow that led to her back door. The prints had in fact been left by the caller’s kids.

10:25 a.m. On Highway 2 West, someone evidently ripped down several no-trespassing signs and puked on the reporting party’s property.

10:58 a.m. Two tires, valued at $100, were stolen from a local tire dealership.

11:40 a.m. Two loose horses without halters wandered around Vista Bonita Drive.

1:16 p.m. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle parked at a Kila business.

1:30 p.m. Approximately loose ten horses were seen walking north near Columbia Falls Stage Road.

1:41 p.m. An Evergreen resident reports that the side mirror was broken off of their vehicle in the night.

2:20 p.m. Someone on Lake Hills Lane received an obscene phone call from an individual at a local motel.

4:03 p.m. A Kila resident called to report an assault but then called back to cancel the complaint. Apparently, everyone involved was highly intoxicated.

5:11 p.m. A “strange” truck was seen parked in a driveway on Parliament Drive. Authorities visited with the driver and found nothing amiss.

5:30 p.m. An injured eagle on Conn Road in Columbia Falls was transferred to the care of the local “bird lady.”

6:19 p.m. Someone in Bigfork reports that a “scruffy-looking” man was walking at the end of the road. According to the caller, the man didn’t look like he belonged in the neighborhood.

7:33 p.m. Two inmates at the Flathead County Detention Center were separated when a friendly wrestling match became a little too intense.

11:23 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident claimed that smoke was coming from the wall of their home. Firefighters arrived to find no sign of smoke or flames.

11:37 p.m. A male subject was taken to a local mental health facility after making suicidal threats and shooting a gun in a residence with his children nearby. The subject was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.
