10:15 a.m. A concerned citizen called to report that a dog was lying on the ground and foaming at the mouth near Sweetgrass Lane. This behavior is in fact quite normal for a Saint Bernard.
10:20 a.m. Reports of a horse not being fed on Grande Vista Drive turned out to be unfounded.
11:13 a.m. A Lakeside resident was alarmed to find that propane gas was pouring out the bottom of her cook stove. Somers Fire Department responded and helped fix the problem.
11:21 a.m. Someone on Kelley Road in Columbia Falls claims that an out-of-state company is involved in fraudulent online activity.
11:25 a.m. Threatening notes left in a Jellison Road mailbox were apparently intended for someone else. Although the notes indicated that the victim wasn’t feeding their dog, authorities found the pooch to be healthy and well-fed.
1:37 p.m. A resident of Tamarack Ridge noticed that a vehicle was backed up to an absent neighbor’s garage. The suspicious vehicle turned out to be from a cleaning crew running a vacuum in the home.
3:59 p.m. Someone on Mountain View Drive clobbered an individual who was attempting to repossess their car. The victim later called back to cancel the complaint.
4:13 p.m. A motorist called to report that a police vehicle did not use their turn signal in Evergreen.
4:33 p.m. A civil issue between a woman and her niece took an unusual turn when the niece began to beat the side of the house with a mini sledgehammer. The subject also threatened to burn down the home.
5:12 p.m. A 22-year-old male subject stuffed an energy drink down his pants and attempted to leave an Evergreen box store.
7:25 p.m. Someone on Braig Road was bitten by a neighbor’s big brown and white dog.
8:45 p.m. A Martin City resident reportedly heard someone shooting a high-powered rifle in the area of her home. She claims that the bullet went by the area of her hot tub.
9:35 p.m. Someone on Smith Lake Road reports hearing gunshots for about ten minutes. Although authorities did find an individual in the area, the subject had no firearms.
11:40 p.m. A female subject lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital after a fall at a local ice rink.
2:26 a.m. Two women and a man engaged in a verbal altercation while traveling on Helena Flats Road. The parties were separated for the night.
2:45 a.m. Flames were reportedly shooting from a chimney in Whitefish. Although the fire was out when authorities arrived, the residents were advised to keep their chimney clean.
