Columbia Falls On Top in Boys and Girls Basketball

Columbia Falls stands alone at the top of both the Northwestern A boys and girls standings, with each team undefeated in league play. The boys are 13-2 (5-0) and the girls are 9-5 (4-0).

Led by sisters Kayla and Kelsey DeWit, the Columbia Falls girls have been rolling lately, including a 61-40 victory over previously unbeaten Polson last week. Kayla DeWit is averaging a conference-best 19.9 points per game. Her rebound average of 12.1 is second only to her sister Kelsey at 12.7. Kelsey is also third in the conference in scoring at 13.8.
