Turkey Thief and a Damaged Package

6:13 a.m. A suspicious male subject in Whitefish was actually resting and didn’t need medical attention.

9:42 a.m. Someone on Nicklaus Avenue received treatment for a severe nose bleed.

10:48 a.m. Authorities answered questions regarding a feral cat in Forest Hill Village.

11:31 a.m. Near Belton Chalet, a trailer carrying a snow cat disconnected from a vehicle and blocked the road.

11:48 a.m. A subject on Hems Road reports that their keys were stolen from the floorboard of their car.

1:02 p.m. A cat was killed on Halfmoon Road. Although there were no witnesses, the reporting party suspects a pit bull.

1:09 p.m. Authorities left a notice at the home of a barking dog on Dee Drive.

2:03 p.m. Ten to fifteen tom turkeys went missing yesterday from a Bigfork home. The reporting party notes that someone in a truck recently drove by and made admiring comments about said turkeys.

2:20 p.m. A local individual received a damage package purchased off Ebay and wanted authorities to look at it before he sent it back.

3:23 p.m. Someone called to report that a horse was caught in a fence on Anderson Lane. Although the horse was safely extricated, the fence was damaged.

4:37 p.m. A customer at a Columbia Falls gas station allegedly stole $1,100 from the store.

6:27 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called to report that someone was prowling around her trailer home.

7:10 p.m. A mastiff chomped a person on Caroline Road.

8:00 p.m. A Caroline Road resident reports that three juvenile males were loitering and smoking on the reporting party’s property.

9:37 p.m. Someone noticed several individuals having a bonfire on the ice at McWenneger Slough and was concerned for their safety. Authorities determined that the fire would not burn through the ice.

11:08 p.m. A motorist apparently hit a chain-link fence and then fled on School Addition Road.
