Found Money and Mysterious Screams

9:43 a.m. A poodle was seen running at large on Gray Lane. This is evidently a recurring issue.

12:07 p.m. Someone in Bigfork found a large wad of cash at a local convenience store and promptly turned it in to the store clerk. When the reporting party returned to inquire about the money, the clerk allegedly behaved as if he had no knowledge of the situation.

12:58 p.m. A resident of Whitefish Stage Road called to report that someone had placed traps on their private property, one of which had ensnared the reporting party’s dog.

1:57 p.m. A cable line fell across a power line in the Smith Valley area, causing a small fire. The fire was quickly extinguished.

3:19 p.m. Someone Silverleaf Drive reports that a pit bull came out of a yard and tried to bite them.

4:01 p.m. An individual trying to repossess a vehicle in Columbia Falls was met with yelling, shoving and other violent behavior.

7:22 p.m. A man broke a window at his girlfriend’s residence on Shady Lane before returning to a local motel. The individual was cited for criminal mischief.

9:34 p.m. Several kids have reportedly been entering a vacant home on Sun Rise Drive.

9:38 p.m. A reckless ATV driver raced up and down Mountain Drive. Although the caller attempted to pursue them, the four-wheeler was gone when authorities arrived.

10:35 p.m. A traffic light near an Evergreen box store was displaying a green light in both directions. The issue was resolved and no collision occurred.

10:52 p.m. Someone evidently heard a woman scream five times at a local cemetery. The cemetery was empty when authorities arrived.
