Domestic Dispute and a Couple of Good Kids

10:57 a.m. A possible fire near Springcreek Drive turned out to be a legal controlled burn.

12:05 p.m. Tools and mail were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in Ptarmigan Village.

2:59 p.m. A man and woman engaged in an altercation in Martin City. The woman allegedly woke him up, disabled the vehicle so he couldn’t leave and blocked the door with an ax handle. The two were separated for the night.

3:00 p.m. A man at a local RV park reports receiving foul text messages from an unknown subject.

4:11 p.m. A fire in an oven on Treasure Island Way was out when firefighters arrived.

4:28 p.m. Near Kila, a truck passed another vehicle in a no passing zone.

5:26 p.m. Deputies informed a young man in Somers that he may not ride his motorcycle on the bike path. When officers left, the subject was pushing the bike home.

6:04 p.m. Someone in Lakeside reports that his ex-wife refused to leave the home. The issue turned out to be part of a divorce situation.

6:25 p.m. A woman who was released from jail into informal house arrest on Friday did not check in at the agreed-upon time. She was found with her boyfriend.

6:57 p.m. A 4-year-old was allegedly attacked by a blue heeler on Shady Lane. The bite did not break the skin.

8:31 p.m. Authorities could not find the source of a “plastic burning smell” on Magstadt Lane.

8:31 p.m. A resident of River Place in Evergreen does not appreciate it when people walk across the reporting party’s yard.

10:04 p.m. Someone called to report that a “bunch of kids” were sitting on the railroad tracks, doing nothing wrong but somehow making the caller nervous. Authorities found that the subjects, one male and one female, were indeed doing nothing wrong.

1:40 p.m. A male subject called the emergency room and indicated that he wanted to kill another man and his wife. He stated that he had a rifle but preferred to beat and club them. Authorities located the individual and brought him in for a mental health evaluation.
