Polson in Basketball State Championship

Polson is in the Class A boys state basketball championship and Columbia Falls is playing for third. Polson beat Butte Central 56-50 in overtime on Friday evening to advance to the state title game where it will face Laurel at 8 p.m. on Saturday night. Laurel beat Columbia Falls 47-43 in double overtime in the first round and then Browning 72-54 in the semifinals.

Columbia Falls, after losing to Laurel, rallied to beat Dillon 53-43 on Friday afternoon and then Butte Cenral 54-31 on Saturday morning to advance to consolation championship at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night. The Wildcats face Billings Central. Below are the championship games for each of the three state tournaments going on right now. Click on the class for a full bracket.
