12:06 a.m. Someone reports seeing a man stumbling around with a beer in hand at a local school playground. One subject was located and arrested for driving under the influence.

1:48 a.m. A vehicle was reportedly parked suspiciously outside a local casino. Police will be providing extra patrol in the area.

3:36 a.m. Someone called from a Whitefish hotel to report that other guests were talking too loudly.

6:43 a.m. A male subject was seen sleeping on the shoulder of Big Mountain Road. The individual was gone when authorities arrived.

10:16 a.m. Two men sitting in a truck at a local storage facility actually had permission to be at that location.

11:19 a.m. Kids playing basketball in McCaffery Road were invited to move their game elsewhere.

11:56 a.m. A male subject was arrested following a high-speed chase that led from Evergreen to Columbia Falls. The subject was forcibly stopped and escorted to jail.

1:31 p.m. Deputies stopped and cited a reckless motorcyclist in the area of a Columbia Falls bar. The subject was apparently popping wheelies and riding at a high rate of speed.

2:02 p.m. Three patients were transported to KRMC following a garage fire on Cayuse Lane. The structure was totally engulfed before firefighters extinguished the blaze.

3:57 p.m. Authorities responded to a report of a laceration on East Oregon Street. The victim, who had sustained a cut to the finger, refused medical attention.

4:42 p.m. Someone on Columbia Falls Stage Road reportedly caught another individual stealing items from his shooting range.

4:43 p.m. Reportedly, a Willow Glen man threatened another man and told his wife to get a gun.

5:14 p.m. A man at a local motel reportedly removed a child from his vehicle, placed the child in a nearby dumpster and then returned and removed the kid from the receptacle. Police could not locate the subject.

6:26 p.m. A resident of Columbia Falls Stage Road reports that a neighbor habitually pulls into the reporting party’s driveway and smokes. Although the harassment has been occurring for about a year, the caller could not identify the suspect.

7:00 p.m. At a Columbia Falls gas station, a man reportedly shoved and scratched another man’s wife.

7:09 p.m. A resident of a local trailer park reports that a friend refuses to return their cell phone. Authorities helped return the phone to the reporting party.

9:39 p.m. On Conrad Drive, a sleeping woman was reportedly woken by a “heavy smoke smell.” The source of the smell could not be located.

9:45 p.m. In Lakeside, a woman arrived home after work to find that “everything” had been removed from her home. Authorities have identified a possible suspect.

12:00 a.m. An intoxicated man called to report that two other men refused to leave his home.
