Car Trouble and a Man in the Ditch

5:57 a.m. Authorities are investigating a counterfeit $100 bill received at an Evergreen fast food eatery.

7:40 a.m. A Hungry Horse resident reports that they found a syringe in their yard.

7:57 a.m. A tire was slashed on Falcon Acres Loop in Columbia Falls.

9:24 a.m. Two dogs that had fallen through the ice on Echo Lake were out by the time officers arrived on scene.

9:39 a.m. Apparently, neighbors on Deer Street in Coram cannot get along. One reportedly yells and screams at the other each time they drive by.

10:25 a.m. A cat tangle on in a fence line on Ridgewood Drive was gone when Animal Control arrived.

10:48 a.m. Two adult male inmates engaged in a physical altercation at the Flathead County Detention Center.

11:52 a.m. Windshield wiper blades were forcibly removed from an excavator on Labrant Road.

11:58 a.m. Two juvenile male subjects were reportedly walking along Whitefish Stage Road and pointing guns into the trees.

12:32 p.m. A resident of Foothill Road noticed that a neighbor’s gate had been cut open. Nothing was missing from the property.

12:39 p.m. Someone found a dead black dog behind a shop on Farm to Market Road.

12:59 p.m. Two neighbors on Kings Loop engaged in a verbal dispute. Neither party chose to file charges.

1:54 p.m. A water trough was reported stolen from a location in Columbia Falls.

2:24 p.m. Authorities counseled the owner of a dog running in the road in the McGregor Lake area.

2:37 p.m. According to a caller, a man pushing a vehicle on Highway 206 looked like he was in distress. His bad mood was found to be a direct result of his broken-down vehicle.

4:14 p.m. After hearing a crash and an argument in the background of a phone conversation, a Billings man requested a welfare check on his son on Conrad Drive. They boy was located and was completely fine.

5:53 p.m. The individual photographing a Columbia Falls home turned out to be a bank representative.

6:36 p.m. Two juvenile female subjects attempted to shoplift cosmetics from an Evergreen box store.

8:13 p.m. Although he was reportedly standing in traffic at the time of the report, a man who was yelling at cars outside a Coram bar was gone when officers arrived.

8:36 p.m. A mother-son duo was cited for shoplifting at an Evergreen box store.

9:25 p.m. Deputies could not locate a man who was reportedly sitting in the ditch at the corner of Columbia Falls Stage Road and River Estates Drive.
