There will be a cross-town boxing smoker between athletes – male and female – from Flathead and Glacier high schools on Thursday April 8 at Gardner’s RV and Trailer Center. There will be 12-15 bouts. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first bout scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Bouts are three rounds, one-minute each.
All proceeds from this event will support the Glacier Wrestling Association, which supports the two high schools’ wrestling programs. It is a family event and all age groups are welcome. This is the first of what is expected to be an annual event.
Tickets are available at Universal Athletics, Pisk Chiropractic and Straight Blast Gym of Montana. Corporate sponsors are Anderson Masonry, Bresnan Communications, Eisinger Motors, Flathead Boxing Club, Gardner Auction Service and Swank Enterprises.
Gardner’s is located at 3100 U.S. Highway 93 South on the east side of the highway.
