Third Man Arrested in Kalispell Beating Death

By Beacon Staff

Kalispell police have arrested a third man who may be connected to last week’s drug-related beating death of a 49-year-old medical marijuana patient.

Police Chief Roger Nasset says 27-year-old Cody A. Naldrett was taken into custody on suspicion of criminal possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia and criminal contempt. Nasset says Naldrett was arrested for possessing items taken from the residence of Wesley Collins.

Nasset says it is believed Collins was killed on April 12. His body was found April 17 in a wooded area outside Kalispell.

Jeffrey Nixon and Robert Lake have been arrested on suspicion of deliberate homicide, but they have not appeared in court. Justice of the Peace David Ortley determined Monday that there was probable cause to hold Nixon and Lake until formal charges are filed.
