8:03 a.m. A truck was stolen from a residence in Marion. The vehicle was unlocked and contained the keys at the time of the theft.
8:59 a.m. Although a window was broken from a business on Trumble Creek Road, nothing was missing from inside.
9:59 a.m. Someone called to report that a suspicious man was smoking a cigar behind a Whitefish trailer house. Come to find out, the man was at his own residence.
12:49 p.m. Authorities were unable to perform a welfare check on a man with an oxygen tank standing near a truck on East Reserve Drive, as he was gone before they arrived.
1:08 p.m. Someone on Lost Creek Drive was apparently unable to ride their bike home due to a vicious pit bull in the area. The dog owner was given a verbal warning.
1:49 p.m. A coin collection and a teen male went missing from a Bigfork residence, one in the possession of the other. The child’s parents will be handling the issue.
1:58 p.m. A case of animal cruelty in the parking lot of an Evergreen box store turned out to be nothing of the sort. Although a dog was in fact inside a vehicle, all of the windows were open.
2:53 p.m. Five subjects, who were kicked out of an Evergreen fast food eatery for arguing, loitered in the parking lot long after their welcome wore out. The subjects were gone when authorities arrived.
4:04 p.m. A teen male subject is evidently harassing his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend on Whitefish Stage Road.
4:41 p.m. A Bigfork man apparently “feared for his life” when he pulled up to several youths spinning brodies in a driveway. Although he did pull a handgun, he did not point it in the direction of the kids.
4:44 p.m. Two white dogs killed chickens and chased cows on Tamarack Lane in Columbia Falls.
6:25 p.m. A local woman believes that her ex-husband might be hacking into her computer accounts, possibly from Egypt. The woman was given advice.
6:45 p.m. Naked except for a pair of black tennis shoes, a man wandered about near Highway 209. Authorities could not locate the subject of the report.
7:02 p.m. Neighbors yelled at one another on South Cedar Drive.
7:33 p.m. Several kids were apparently using a Whitefish cemetery as a race track for their mini motorcycles. The youths could not be located.
9:30 p.m. Search and Rescue helped a stranded boat containing four or five individuals return to the shore in Somers.
9:58 p.m. Two men apparently stumbled around Bigfork before getting into a vehicle, trying to make sure no one saw them.
10:03 p.m. Someone kicked over a stack of firewood on Nicholson Drive.
2:41 a.m. An attempted traffic stop in Evergreen led to a high-speed chase reaching speeds of up to 100mph. The subject was eventually sought refuge at a friend’s house, unaware that a neighbor observed him pushing his motorcycle onto that site. He was found and arrested for eluding a peace officer and driving without a valid license.
