Rolling Annoyance and a Dead Deer

5:04 a.m. Bigfork Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Echo Chalet Drive. The incident is being investigated as a possible arson.

8:13 a.m. Two brown dogs behaved aggressively toward kids on Parliament Drive. Authorities are investigating.

10:13 a.m. An 11-year-old boy was briefly stuck in an elevator at a Columbia Falls school. Columbia Falls Fire Department responded and rescued the boy.

10:43 a.m. Reports of smoke seen on Wrangler Drive turned out to be dust created when someone cut a slab of concrete.

12:07 p.m. A resident of Hungry Horse called to report that a vehicle was driving up and down the road playing music very loudly. The caller believes that this was an intentional act meant to annoy her.

12:41 p.m. In Coram, a garage caught fire and partially collapsed before being extinguished by a several local fire departments.

1:19 p.m. Someone called to report that a dead wolf was lying in the road in Whitefish. The dead creature was not in fact a wolf but a run-of-the-mill deer.

3:57 p.m. A man allegedly yelled at a woman and spit in her face on Shadow Wood Drive in Columbia Falls.

3:59 p.m. A Whitefish resident reports that two men came to his door regarding the purchase of meat.

5:14 p.m. Reports of an overturned boat on Flathead Lake turned out to be a parasailer, who was oriented correctly.

7:53 p.m. Despite reports that three youths were throwing beer bottles on the ground near Foys Lake, the site was clean when deputies arrived.

11:40 p.m. A car parked at an Evergreen box store evidently contained six to eight individuals who were intoxicated and partaking of illicit substances.
