6:00 a.m. A noise complaint against a local construction company was canceled when the caller refused to identify themselves.

10:18 a.m. A report of dirt bikers trespassing on Haywire Gulch turned out to be unfounded.

11:27 a.m. Someone on Braig Lane in Columbia Falls reports that a supposed friend stole their prescription medications.

12:15 p.m. Individuals on Shady Lane engaged in a neighborhood spat when one party drove too quickly down the road while kids were playing outside. When confronted, the subject reportedly spun his tires, pelting the caller’s wife with gravel.

12:24 p.m. Authorities are investigating a case of possible animal cruelty on Two Mile Drive. A Rottweiler at the residence evidently is never allowed outside of the house.

12:38 p.m. A stray donkey returned home after an excursion to a Creston subdivision. The owner was overjoyed at its return.

3:51 p.m. An air compressor was reported stolen from the Marion area.

3:57 p.m. On Shady Lane, an 11-year-old punched a chair and refused to obey his parents. All parties were counseled.

5:01 p.m. A purse containing prescription medications and mail was stolen from a vehicle parked at an Evergreen box store. The back window of the vehicle was open when the theft occurred.

5:03 p.m. An Evergreen resident called to report that an ex-friend, who was carrying beer, refused to leave the caller’s home. The subject eventually decided to leave.

5:24 p.m. Although two children were reportedly vandalizing picnic tables at a local park, authorities could find no signs of damage.

5:52 p.m. The 6-year-old that showed up at an Evergreen residence and claimed to have been left alone had in fact sneaked out of the house. The child’s parents had been home the entire time.

5:58 p.m. Someone reportedly witnessed a man throw a dog to the ground on Spencer Mountain Trail.

7:27 p.m. One dog attacked another on Lake Drive.

7:49 p.m. Subjects who were reportedly shooting toward a home on Emmons Creek Road were gone when authorities arrived.

8:03 p.m. Someone found 20 to 25 packages of half-smoked cigarettes wrapped in aluminum foil on Blanchard Lake Drive.

9:09 p.m. A resident of Buckboard Lane returned home from a visit to Arizona to find that a jar of pennies and a purse containing money had been stolen from the house. One door showed signs of tampering.

10:14 p.m. A man and his father-in-law fought physically on Blanchard Lake Road.

12:00 a.m. A man and a woman fought physically in Lakeside. The altercation reportedly involved a measure of pushing and a weapon in the form of a broomstick.
