Parasite Problem and a Worried Mother

Tuesday 5/11

7:54 a.m. A possible incident of horse theft on Jellison Road turned out to be a civil matter.

9:34 a.m. An unknown quantity of gravel was stolen from a gravel pit on Highway 2.

10:59 a.m. A Martin City woman was given advice after reporting her suspicions that she was drugged over the weekend.

11:07 a.m. Prescription medications were stolen from a local inn.

11:38 a.m. Someone on Coclet Lane received an obscene phone call. Unfortunately, not enough information was available to follow up.

12:21 p.m. A report of flames in an oven in Creston was cancelled three minutes later.

12:44 p.m. Someone on Kaeding Creek Road noticed a young male subject run out of a house and into the Haskill Basin area. This was apparently quite suspicious.

12:48 p.m. Two kids in a vehicle on Tronstad Road were apparently shooting gophers before the reporting party asked them to leave. They complied.

12:55 p.m. Someone found a machete on the ground near a local school. Officers arrived and picked it up.

2:12 p.m. Someone called to report that a fisherman on Foys Lake urinated into the water.

2:47 p.m. Garbage flew out of the back of a truck and temporarily obstructed Highway 93.

2:47 p.m. Authorities could not locate the new white ladder that fell off of a truck and landed in the ditch on Highway 93 South.

3:33 p.m. A 16-year-old girl ran away from her Hungry Horse home, possibly in the company of a juvenile male. She has not yet been located.

4:07 p.m. Deputies issued citations to a man and woman who were caught stealing video games from an Evergreen box store.

4:34 p.m. A resident of an apartment complex on Highway 2 reports that a neighbor’s dog needs wormed.

7:30 p.m. Two children were walking home from school when one allegedly hit the other. The reporting party doesn’t believe that her son was harmed, and no crime was committed.

9:58 p.m. Four grizzlies were sighted in a residential area near Echo Lake. They reportedly did not seem aggressive.

1:42 a.m. A man and woman engaged in a verbal altercation when the man came home to find his belongings strewn about the home. The two were separated for the evening.

3:33 a.m. A man who jumped off of an Evergreen bridge into the river below was fleeing from authorities. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
