Polson, Whitefish Lead Softball as Playoffs Near

With only a couple of regular season games left, it’s still unclear which three teams will represent Northwestern A at the state softball playoffs on May 27-29. In Class A, the three top teams from the four conferences advance to the state tournament. There are no divisionals.

Polson continues to lead the way with a perfect league record of 5-0. The Pirates are 10-3 overall. Whitefish is right behind them at 3-2 in the conference, followed by Libby at 3-3. Columbia Falls is 2-4 and Ronan is 0-4.

1. Polson – 10-3; 5-0
2. Whitefish – 6-7; 3-2
3. Libby – 7-9; 3-3
4. Columbia Falls – 7-7; 2-4
5. Ronan – 3-10; 0-4
