Hazardous Waste and a Family Fight

11:54 a.m. Apparently, someone has decided that the dumpsters near Ashley Lake are an acceptable place to dump raw sewage.

12:19 p.m. A woman left a Bigfork grocery store with an unpaid-for bag of groceries. She then called the store to resolve the problem and avoid a criminal record.

12:59 p.m. A Sherman Road man reportedly forged his wife’s signature in order to cash a $1,000 check.

2:37 p.m. A man and his son argued verbally at a school near Marion.

3:01 p.m. A dog bit an individual on the hand in the city of Kalispell.

4:02 p.m. A 59-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after falling and banging her eye on a bookcase.

4:07 p.m. Deputies helped a couple of neighbors on Prairie View Way work out a disagreement regarding trespassing.

4:12 p.m. Someone on Wagner Lane called to report that a man habitually sits in a chair and watches her children play. Authorities found that he was sitting in a public park and had every right to do so.

4:32 p.m. Apparently, a group of kids looked like they were considering jumping from a bridge on West Reserve Drive into the water below. The kids were gone when deputies arrived.

4:48 p.m. Allegedly, several youths tossed rocks onto the roof of a local business.

4:56 p.m. An injured bald eagle was taken to a professional for care.

4:59 p.m. A resident of Welf Lane observed a domestic disturbance at a neighboring residence. The altercation resulted in the arrest of the male subject, who punched his girlfriend because he didn’t want her to leave.

5:01 p.m. Someone intentionally damaged a fence on Creekwood Drive.

6:00 p.m. On Smith Lake Road, someone apparently decided to pull mail from a mailbox and scatter it on the ground.

6:01 p.m. Three 10-year-old boys reportedly tried to break into several cars on Mountain Drive. Their efforts proved unsuccessful.

7:08 p.m. The person who called to report trespassing on Egan Slough Road did not have time to address the issue himself, and requested that authorities contact the trespasser. No one was on site when deputies arrived.

7:12 p.m. Someone on Wintercrest Drive reports that a neighbor’s dog bit their friend.

8:15 p.m. A 17-year-old male subject in Hungry Horse reportedly ran away because he didn’t want to obey his mother’s rules.

9:17 p.m. A deer was killed when it was struck by a moving motor vehicle on Concord Lane.

9:18 p.m. A man and woman caused a disturbance at a Coram bar. The man, who used to be married to the woman, brought along their intoxicated 17-year-old daughter who was cited for MIP.

10:51 p.m. Someone at a residence near a Coram bar called to complain about loud music at the establishment.
