The Northwestern A divisional tennis tournament is held in Kalispell on May 20-21, and will extend into Saturday May 22 if necessary. Matches are held at the Flathead Valley Community College’s tennis courts and the Summit Medical Fitness Center’s Glacier Tennis Club. Play begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. on Friday. If play is necessary on Saturday, matches will begin at 9 a.m.
Whitefish High School is hosting the tournament, with Activities Director Jackie Fuller and Kathy Cummings serving as the event’s directors. The tournament is a qualifier for the Class A state tennis tournament, held on May 27-28 in Billings.
Participating schools are Whitefish, Polson, Ronan, Columbia Falls and Libby. Matches include boys and girls singles, as well as boys and girls doubles.
