Overpriced Meal and an Accidental Guest

6:33 a.m. In Whitefish, a large black bear was seen near a garbage can.

7:58 a.m. Someone called to report that they were overcharged for a meal at a local Mexican eatery. The caller got their money back and all was well.

8:34 a.m. A Hungry Horse resident suspects that her husband pawned their daughter’s camera to purchase prescription drugs.

11:50 a.m. Someone shot fireworks out of a moving vehicle on Highway 2. The car moved on before authorities arrived.

12:23 p.m. A Whitefish resident apparently received threats from another individual via mail.

12:36 p.m. A man who was shooting at geese on Echo Lake Road was gone when authorities arrived.

12:59 p.m. Authorities checked on a crying woman pushing a stroller on Frontage Road. Apparently, she was upset because her boyfriend had been arrested.

2:03 p.m. A male subject on Creekside Court called to report that his parents were fighting. Authorities arrived to find the caller was in fact out of control and was in possession of dangerous drugs.

3:12 p.m. On Ashley Lake Road, someone accidentally let a suspicious stranger through their gate.

3:32 p.m. Deputies could not locate the two shirtless men who were reportedly yelling “white power” outside a local bar.

3:49 p.m. Three horses in Nyack evidently have no access to food. Authorities are investigating.

4:38 p.m. Some sort of a log barrier and “no trespassing” signs were stolen from a property in Lakeside.

5:15 p.m. A man on Ezy Drive shattered his ex-girlfriend’s windshield and was promptly taken to jail.

7:37 p.m. No one was harmed in a fire that fully engulfed a home in Columbia Falls.
