Frightening Trucker and a Borrowed Car

3:16 p.m. Although it appeared that someone had tampered with a window frame at a local motel, no entry was gained into the room.

3:20 p.m. An individual was seen shooting out of a truck window on Spotted Bear Road. Authorities could not locate the subject.

3:29 p.m. Someone at a local business called to report that a semi truck was parked outside and that the driver looked “scary.” The subject had stopped to do paperwork and was leaving when deputies arrived.

5:15 p.m. A local white horse looked starved but was in fact completely fine.

5:38 p.m. The landlord of a vacation rental home on Tamarack Lane was given advice when the home was trashed by a guest.

6:26 p.m. According to reports, a man was standing in Ridgewood Drive, trying to start a fight with another individual. Both parties were counseled.

6:54 p.m. One dog attacked another on Vonderheide Lane.

7:14 p.m. A male subject, wandering around a Coram bar, stated that he was worried the cops would find him. The cops did not find him, as he was gone when deputies arrived.

8:30 p.m. Two men were kicked off the train in Whitefish before reaching their destination in Malta. They were evidently highly intoxicated and unruly men.

9:36 p.m. A resident of Stillwater Estates called to report that her car had been stolen. The vehicle was actually with the reporting party’s friend.

9:44 p.m. Deputies could not locate an intoxicated man seen walking eastbound on Highway 2 West.

10:02 p.m. A man and woman yelled and cursed at one another on Birch Drive. No one wanted to file charges, and the two were sent their separate ways for the night.

10:39 p.m. A reportedly suspicious vehicle on Clothier Lane actually belonged in the area.
