Hunting License Site Crashes on Last Day to Apply

By Beacon Staff

MISSOULA – The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks online licensing system has crashed on the last day to apply for special hunting permits.

Applications for permits for limited-access areas, special doe or cow hunts or other restricted licenses are due by Tuesday.

Department staff were advising hunters to get applications from regional offices or sporting goods stores. The documents also can be downloaded from the department’s website and mailed in.

Wildlife officials say a paper application with a June 1 postmark will meet that requirement.
