8:01 a.m. A lawn ornament was stolen from a Kalispell residence. The ornament in question is a statue of a bulldog.
8:38 p.m. Several dogs were spotted chasing horses in Kalispell. The animal control officer handled the situation.
8:41 a.m. A man allegedly exposed himself in Kiwanis Park.
9:27 a.m. A vicious dog in the Lake Blaine area cornered a jogger. No word on how the jogger made his escape.
11:11 a.m. A Kalispell resident called to report that kids kept on coming onto his property at night and vandalizing equipment.
12:54 p.m. The construction site of the new Kalispell bypass was vandalized.
1:05 p.m. A man and a woman were spotted yelling and pushing one another on Whitefish Stage. When deputies arrived, the pair denied there had been any pushing, “only yelling.”
3:56 p.m. A report that two puppies were tied to a barbwire fence in Kalispell without food or water turned out to be unfounded.
4:25 p.m. A Lakeside woman called after having difficulties communicating with her teenage son. Deputies arrived and counseled the pair.
4:58 p.m. Two boys and a girl were spotted in Martin City using a ladder to maneuver over a fence and then attempt to enter the second story window of a residence. Upon locating the residence’s renter, deputies realized the three were merely friends without a key.
6:25 p.m. A German Shepherd that was promenading through traffic on a busy Evergreen street had his parade cut short when officers returned him to his owners in one, unsquashed piece.
6:54 p.m. An unruly Amtrak customer was removed from the train at the Isaak Walton Inn and given a ride to Kalispell.
7:56 p.m. A skateboarder was spotted zipping down the middle of a Whitefish road, evidently alarming someone.
8:44 p.m. Someone tossed fireworks into a Hungry Horse home.
8:53 p.m. A baby pig was stolen from Somers.
9:19 p.m. A Kalispell pizza delivery driver was pulled over west of Kalispell and lectured about his reckless driving.
10:14 p.m. An intoxicated man was staggering down a Kalispell road, waving a flashlight at cars and asking for a ride.
11:47 p.m. A 12-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl engaged in an epic sibling battle that required the counsel of deputies.
1:19 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident became alarmed that a prowler was on his property. The shadowy figure in the dark turned out to be a friend, visiting unannounced.
