The Glacier Emeralds are holding their annual Kalispell softball tournament on July 2-4 at the Kidsports Complex off of U.S. Highway 93. Games begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening and run all day Saturday and Sunday.
There are 32 teams participating in four age groups: 10-U, 12-U, 14-U and 16-U. Local teams include Emeralds squads in 10-U, 12-U, 14-U and 16-U; the Flathead Monsters in 16-U; another Flathead team in 16-U; and several others. If you get a chance, head down to the field and enjoy a softball game or two over the Fourth or July weekend.
