A rising Columbia Falls senior plans to play for the Montana State women’s basketball team after she graduates next year.
Kayla DeWit last month verbally committed to play for the Bobcats and is expected to receive a full scholarship.
The 6-foot-2 DeWit is a two-time all-state selection.
She averaged nearly 19 points and 11 rebounds as a junior. She and older sister Kelsey helped lead the Columbia Falls Wildkats to a 7-1 Northwestern A record and the divisional title.
