Kalispell Cross-Country Coach Earns National Honor

Flathead High coach Paul Jorgensen has been named the national girls’ cross country coach of the year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association.

Jorgensen has been a head coach since 1979 and his girls’ teams have won 13 state championships.

Jorgensen was named the NHSACA coach of the year for boys’ cross country in 2008.
