8:43 a.m. A Kalispell resident reported that a friend had stolen his cat. He expressed interest in setting up a place where a cat transfer could be made safely. The thieving friend was also in possession of the man’s car.
9:29 a.m. Another victim of thievery found his missing saddle at a Kalispell pawn shop.
10:35 a.m. Concerned parents called in when they found a wayward boy hiding in their daughter’s closet. He was told to quit sneaking into their home and deputies returned the young man to his parents.
1:41 p.m. A Lakeside woman complained of cigarette butts in her yard. She doesn’t know how they get there, but she knows it happens at night because her dog “freaks out.”
4:35 p.m. A Kila resident reported that their neighbor walked onto their property.
7:04 p.m. A pocket scale was stolen from an Evergreen gas station.
7:58 p.m. An intoxicated and belligerent Olney woman was upset when her friends took her keys and she was kicked out of a bar.
9:19 p.m. Kids paintballed a Whitefish resident’s property and refused to leave.
9:43 p.m A drunk was spotted napping on the side of Highway 35.
12:05 p.m. A terrified Martin City woman barricaded herself in her bedroom when she heard people banging on her doors and windows trying to get in. Deputies arrived and found no evidence of anyone having been on the property.
