What’s in the Van?

Sunday 8/9

9:43 a.m. A vicious dog bit someone on Highway 206.

9:45 a.m. An upset man called in to warn authorities that he did not approve of the noise coming from the Rainbow Bar across the street.

12:37 p.m. A Whitefish resident called in to complain that their neighbor had blocked their driveway with a rock.

1:15 p.m. An intoxicated man upset Evergreen residents as he went door to door looking for a friend.

2:05 p.m. Someone called in to report a man chasing and yelling and screaming at a teenage boy. Upon investigation, the older man, the dad, explained that they were just playing a game.

2:55 p.m. A tourist from Florida and a local had a problem with road rage on Highway 2 in Columbia Falls.

3:07 p.m. An 11- and 12-year-old boy stole trading cards and a CD from a business on Highway 2 East.

5:01 p.m. Someone called in from Swan Ridge Court to talk about four men in a van who wanted him to “look at something.” Reportedly, one of the men looked “spacy.”

5:57 p.m. A suspicious man was reportedly selling “Kleenex Travel Kits” out of a silver van on Forrest Drive.

6:18 p.m. Kids were running on the roof of the mercantile in Lakeside.

9:30 p.m. A transient wandered onto a Columbia Falls resident’s property and chose not to leave.

10:14 p.m. There were people in a small car behind a business Highway 2 East that kept opening and shutting their doors.
