A Burlington Northern Santa Fe train car is reflected in the windows adjacent to where Jason Rogers, with Rocky Mountain Painting, paints the exterior of the railway depot last week in Whitefish. The lower half of the building was being repainted to recondition areas that had faded. The Whitefish Railway Depot, now restored to its original Glacier National Park chalet-like appearance, was built in 1927 by the Great Northern Railway and purchased by the Stumptown Historical Society in 1990 from Burlington Northern.
